All of Me #nofilter

White and Brown,

a mix between the two.

What do I call myself?

AND give a statement that’s true?

Half of me is known

while the other disappeared

not knowing who I fully am

is something that i have always feared.

An identity unknown

only a few facts to share,

relating myself to someone

so that I can pretend that they care.

Living in an area

so full and so wealthy,

has had me realize

that this bubble is unhealthy.

No identifying with the outside,

only with what you live and see

guides my generation here

to pretend that everything comes easy.

The mind needs to open

and realize everything won’t be okay,

because soon our planet will disappear

and soon the beauty will slip away.

The love that we used to have

isn't half of what it used to be

no more slow dancing in the moonlight

but playing with love like the emotion is free.

I want things for the better,

to make a change from the mistakes

so our world can live longer,

no matter how long it takes.

I believe we are up for a struggle

to make this world our own,

to fix all the problems

that are starting to show.

This is all of me

and more that I believe.

I want to leave this planet with happiness,

not something that I should greave.
