All the Rest

As winter comes

I run out tho the rain

I dance and sing

Because there is no pain

As winter turns to summer

I run out to the sun

And dance and sing

Because i'm still having fun

With friends and family by my side

I remember always that life is a ride

With ups and downs

With twists and turns

Friends are always there

To heal the burns

All around us is happiness

That we need to find

It comes out effortless

Yet we are all blind

Music helps us through

When times are tough

But not all of you think

That it is ever enough

I am the girl that likes to feel

While others sit back and reveal

Secrets are lost

Friendships have no cost

But not with me

As the sun goes down

Another day arrives

I walk to my closet

And pick out another surprise

I always look my best

Because i know,

Life says all the rest
