All the Stars

I am so madly in love with new york city

The lights on the buildings

Brighter than the stars

And you,

You were brighter than all the stars that night

My car turned into a carriage

And there we were

Getting lost in the streets of a city

We didn’t know

The sound of your high heels

Scouring the pavement as we jogged across busy streets

Every single night

The moon reminds me of your eyes

And your fears

How when it loomed over the world

It felt a little too big

And we felt a little too small

I am so madly in love with new york city

But even that could never compare

To how madly in love i was

With you.
