All Thanks To You

Ah, my friend,

My page and pen.

Words flow then,

And paint the canvas.

Each poem is new,

Yet it feels the same.

Never write my name,

But I'm in the game.

Once I was small,

Curled in a ball,

Facing the wall,

With no where to go.

Then I found you.

And I was free.

You made me see,

How to let me be.

Instead of holding it in,

Wanting to sin,

You told me where to begin,

Taught me how to handle it.

I grew thanks to you,

Thanks to poetic expression,

Word and confession,

And constant progression.
