ALL THESE RUDDY PILLS
ALL THESE RUDDY PILLS
writer’s block a facing me;
for there is no doubting it
nothing’s coming out from da pen,
rather be sleepy byes,
than sitting here at writer’s post,
mind all blank,
and wondering why
usually am a productive being,
might have something to do with
all these ruddy pills,
that are prescribed,
in keeping me alive, upright and active,
three times a day they say
is good for this little black duck,
with a purple one for this,
and a white one for that,
and another colour for something else,
don’t know where they all go
when down the hatch,
or meet midstream,
and am not I the lucky one
that Viagra is not of the list for me,
with a touch of the big D you see
which is now my memory,
to keep me out of harm’s way,
but my biggest problem though,
in being on all these bloody pills
is when I walk,
I shake like a maraca on heat,
and being at me post
I haven’t much more to say!!!!
