All We Need

A cruel part of life is waking up

and then having the world tell you

"that's enough of that,

no dreams come true"

Aspirations get crushed daily,

our visions get ridiculed and dismissed

as if that will make them die.

Truth be told though, I've always been one to resist.

And that I will do,

until the day of my final breath,

I determine my limitations, and for me, sky's the limit,

full throttle forward until the day of my death.

No one can stop this dreamer from dreaming,

so while many people believe that in this day and age

our lives depend on material objects,

all we truly need in this stage

is a dream.

Dreams are what keep us alive

without them, I believe the soul has died

So keep your aspirations high, nothing's impossible,

live life to the fullest, show them you're unstoppable.
