All we need is each other

Rivers flow impetuously and create unequivocal mounds

but the penetration of water can be something so gentle, yet profound

I’m here to tell you that I am the water

I flow through the cracks of rubble

seep through gaping holes of soil

and enrich the roots of others

I do this for my sisters and brothers because they aren't equipped to do it themselves

even though the fires inside them sing like church bells

they possess gaping holes in their souls as hollow as deep wells

But while in the water state it’s hard to stay completely pure

imperfect mulch, grass, and dirt come with

these many imperfections spiral my interconnection

cloud my vista and flaw my perception

In english, my imperfections make me insecure

I know that I’ll never be as strong a god

but I also know that if I provide enough food for thought

it can possibly go beyond land and shore

and since water will always be a necessity

It’s important that I use it intellectually

now the type of water that i’m referring to isn't the one that's two hydrogen atoms bonded to oxygen

it’s the type that can ripple, ignite, and light a flame inside each and every one of you.

I'm teaching every one of you

That you don't have to be

Them people that’s on the TV

That get a college degree

And forget about kids like you and me

But, but. sebastien. Isn't that the person you said all your life you wanted to be

Didn't you say that you were gonna forget about those kids on the block

That you were gonna trade them in for white guys in quirky suits with a 7 figure bank account snapshot?

Hell yeah I said that

But now looking back I dread that

Because I finally took a step back

With some time out

To assess that, if I don't go back to help out my friends then who the hell will

All their friends are in jail still

And their just scratching their heads with the stupid face on saying "damn,

Shit real"

They didn't figure it out as early as I did

So instead of  tossing them to the dogs like the government eventually will

I'm gonna flow into them

Ignite that flame inside each and every one of them

And start teaching every one of them

How they can rise above

And still make it
