All the World

I know this sounds cheesy,

But he's good as gouda.

Because he loves me,

He has waited a year and a half

To ask me out.

Because he respects me,

He holds me for my comfort,

not his ambitions.

Because he cares for me,

He lets me rest of him.

Because he knows me well enough,

He finds videos of baby animals

And watches them with me.

(Though he doesn't have the same zeal about them).

Being together, we are happy

But apart, I am happy to know I am in his heart.

Because he trusts me,

He doesn't care who I hang out with or what I wear to go out.

Because I have had bad experiences in the part,

He is sensitive to how I am and what I am disturbed by.

Because he loves me,

We don't always agree, but

We always get it right in the end.

And all the world should know,

What a healthy, caring relationship is.
