All You Need

There are some things humans must have to survive

Food, air, and water is what keeps them alive.

But what is one thing a life cannot miss?

For without this thing, one cannot find bliss.

Is the answer the trees, those tall, wooden creatures

With green leaves and brown bark and other such features?

Or, is it the animals - like cats, birds, and dogs?

That live in houses, on branches, in logs?

What about phones, computers, and cars

Or other machines humans have made so far?

Could it be sweets like sugar and candy?

A sour life certainly would not be dandy.

Though it's nice to have the things listed above.

The true answer to this question is: Love.

This feeling is found in the place one calls home

The places where friends and families roam.

Love does not come from only the people

For some, they find it under a steaple.

Whether love comes from God or a family and friends

There is one clear message that Loving one sends:

Even if you're outside and chilled to the bone

It's because of Love that you're never alone.

If there's a moment, give it some thought

Because somewhere someone loves you a lot.
