Allow Me to Address
Can't think, too many clouds in my mind. Can't move, as I’m too entwined in the hypocrisy of their lies, if I’m the terrorist, then why am I being terrorized. If an eye for eye makes the whole world blind, then we all can't see. But what if they took my voice? Then I can't speak.
Speech without thought is just mindless babble; thought without speech is an internal battle. What's the point of voice? If opinions can't be expressed. What's the point of freedom? If there aren't equal rights? What's the point of belief? If it’s always going to judged.
Welcome to the land of the so called free, but believing my in God gives them a rights to patronize me.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is not in the Creed of this nation that all men are created equally?
Just like Martin, I too have a dream. That peace and prosperity spreads across the seas. That people around the globe can't wait till injustice seizes.
You see, I write just to merely express my feelings inside.
Inside me are the most explicit of emotions. So vivid and insane. Explicitly explicit that at times I feel inane.
This here is an attempt, a measly interpretation that'll make this an exception, an exception because it might misinterpret the utterly explicit emotions within.
I come from the land of the so called free. But wearing my veil gives them a right to patronize me.
Forgive me; I'm not trying to generalize but rather trying to unmask these feelings inside.
TERRORIST, part of speech; noun. Definition; a person who terrorizes or frightens people.
So by definition each and every one of you has either terrorized or has been terrorized. Not necessarily physically but mentally or emotionally and even spiritually.
See, many of my people have been penalized, for simply abiding by the first amendment and having religious pride.
I have been a victim of religious slander. And the 11th of every September marked as an X on every calendar reminds the world and me that believing in my faith is something to hide.
You see, you think I'm oppressed just because I'm not similarly dressed.
You look at me and I stand out from the rest. Does it not impress you that I'm amongst your best and yet you try to stop me from success. But not to worry it’s not a personal matter, because your opinions are still trying to come up the ladder and I'll gladly let you know when they become valid.
Curiosity animosity whether I'm depressed, suppressed, distressed, or repressed your categories are versions solitary confinement.
Allow me to address the way that I dress is not a sign of oppression, so STOP stressing me on this form of expression.
