Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Hello,

Allow me to

Introduce myself;

My name is

Fake.

"I have become

All things to

All men"

I said

And used it as

An excuse

To wear a

Face.

But there's always

Been a

Difference

Between

Conforming to

Faith

And wearing a face.

He said

"Conform,"

I said

"I did."

He came right back

With

"To what?"

I stood

Speechless.

He said,

"That's right,

Lies and

Deceit."

Hello,

Allow me to

Introduce myself;

My name is

Hate.

Apathy

For the things of God

And

Anger towards

The Church.

I've been hurt

But that's no

Excuse for me

To push away the

One who really loves me

For me,

Who saved me,

Who puts up with

Me when I get caught up in

A selfish stream of

I's and Me's.

No excuse to

Shun those who

Practice what they

Preach

And ignore the

Love of the

Body

Because I don’t

Understand it

Or it

Makes me

Uncomfortable.

Hello,

Allow me to

Introduce myself;

My name is

Blind.

With an

Ungrateful heart, to You

I said

"I want this from

You,

But don't deserve it

Don't feel worthy to

Ask for it"

Your

Consistent

Response:

"You don't deserve it,

Yet I give it"

Why?

If I may

Take a word or

Two

From a

Dear friend of mine,

Malachi 1:2

"For I have loved you"

And yet

I do not see

Because I'm too busy.

Too busy

Complaining about shit

That is unimportant

And takes my

Time away from giving

Glory to the

Father

Hallelujah

Amen.

Too busy feeling

Sorry

For myself

Because I can't fix

What's wrong in my

Life on my own;

Not realizing that

I am what's

Wrong with my life.

That if I could

Only step back for a

Minute and give

It back to the

One who

Created it and

Wants it more than I

Ever could

That

He

Would fix it.

Hello,

Allow me to

Introduce myself;

My name is

Sin.

Void of all things

Good and

Holy

I sit in

Squalor

Ignoring the One that

Made me

His

Because I am so

Afraid of losing

Surety and

Control

That I would rather

Ignore goodness

And accept

Filth

Than admit my

Wrongs

And

Submit.

He said

"Humble yourself"

I said

"No, I don’t

Need You"

Never have I been so

Empty

In my life.

Too weak even

To feign joy

Was I.

And yet

He has said

"I have loved you,

Child."

Hello,

Allow me to

Introduce myself;

My name is

Free.

Made perfect by the

One

Who looks at my

Wretched soul

And smiles.

The One who hears me

Everyday when I say

"I don't know

What I'm doing"

And answers right back

"That's OK"

The one who understands

When I say

"I've been

Dazed and Confused.

I've been

Hurt

And I don't know

How to

Follow You.

But I'm trying."

Believe me, I

Know better than

Anyone that it

Doesn't look like it.

But I'm

Thankful

Because no longer am I

About to lose my

Worried mind.

Thank you for writing this. It's kind of a slap in the face for me to turn back to God, my loving and merciful Father. The Holy Spirit was definitely working through you when you wrote this.

What kind of face did you have on when you met GOD.

And It didn;t sound like you hated Him at all Ms Hate.

And then I couldnt get through the second half...

I  really loved this because I've been there. That defining moment when you just give it all up to Him. Especially after years of running. So great
