Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself

When I look up, I see me,

I see someone that's beautiful but broken,

Brilliant but struggling,

I can be whoever I want to be,

But I let people define me,

Why is that?

Why do I stoop to that level,

When I know I am better than that,

I am much better than those who look down on me,

Now I am ready to break free,

Break free from mental slavery,

I am ready to be a better me.
