Almost lost it all

Almost lost it all when my dad lost his job and left.   Mom always preached - college is like money in the bank.  The bank of her degree saved it all.  Her bank of a degree lead to one job during the day.  Her bank of a degree lead to one more job the weekend.  The degree jobs they changed our lives - now I see how a degree and a job can save those who don't leave.
