Almost Time To Go

I try to hold my head up high, so many things misunderstood. So many thoughts I cannot erase, just wish I could. I will never stop trying, I will never give up. Too many nights of crying, too many times with trying. You cannot keep me captive and enslave me no longer. There were so many times I wish I had grown stronger. Too many nightsof fighting, too many nights of guilt. Simply deciding, a better relationship I wish we had built. I know you love me, I know you just wat to keep me safe. But there is someone I want to be, something I can no longer ignore. I don't exactly know who I am, or where I will go in life. I don't know what it is I will find, don't know what it is I will discover, all I know is I can no longer be confined. I wish I could tell you every single thought I have had, then maybe you'd understand. But knowing you, everything would get out of hand. Almost time for me to leave after all this time. Almost time to push up my sleeves and move on. Leaving will be hard to do, but it's a must. I may not have it all thought through, but this is when I truely need your trust.
