Alone
I alone am here to stay,
Far away far away
I look at the mirror and what do I see?
But a lonely little girl like me
I wonder if she can talk like me
Or walk like me
Or even run a mile like me
But what I know in this world
Is how lonely is that little girl
Black hair, big black eyes
Black, black as the big night skies
The one who carries the poems from people who die.
Who I want to be who knows
But when I look I see that little girl
In this lonely little, little world.
I want to be her.
