Alone

You look in front of you,

but you see nothing,

call out,

no answer,

start movig forward,

searching for someone,

there is no one,

huddled in the corner,

waiting just waiting,

then you see it!

A shadow lurking in the corner,

moving towards you glittering,

something in their hand,

shadow pluges on your,

knife in heart.

I wrote this poem when I was 15 for an english class I was taking in high school. We were assigned to write a persnal narrtive and I decided to write about my first love. After reading the first copy my teacher hated it and gave me a chance to rewrite the narritive and give it a little more emotions. I decided to end the story with this poem that I had written and my teacher loved it. I went from a very low grade to getting a 100% score on the rewrite.
