-Alone-

A sunset, blazing in a clear blue sky, Clouds standing still as if there frozen in time.

There are miles and miles of road with nothing in sight but, American flags and white lines.

Both giving you reminders that in this world life is free but, time is not your side.

For a moment you clear your mind and realize that you’re all alone for once in your life.

Alone to be you, alone to be free, alone to try.

Alone to gain some since of knowledge about yourself, alone to gain some pride.

Alone to gain some wisdom and change your perception on life.

Alone to trust God, love God, try God and not ask him why.

Alone to tap into your soul, and let your spirit fly.

Alone to dream, alone to let go and leave all the extra baggage behind. Alone.

I am a 23 year old senior in college. My major is sociology. I love to write poems, short stories, and songs. I also love playing my piano, drums and teaching myself to play acoustic guitar. After graduating I hope to move forward and put my all into my music and my poetry and hopefully be able to break into the industry with my controversial lyrics and new sounds. I love making a difference in someone’s life and what better way than to do that than with your words. "Ones words can be someone’s greatest treasure, if spoken out with authority and wisdom"
