Alone

My heart is screaming out your name but my head says no. My mind yells to stay away but my soul whispers go. Tears stream down my face as you blankly stare at me, And I hate this war where head and heart just don’t agree. These past few things have been rough, I say I don’t care but you call my bluff. I honestly don’t know where we stand, And because of that you have the upper hand. I wait and wait, just as I always do, And now I finally know just what I mean to you. I feel myself falling so quickly through the air; You just let me fall and don’t really seem to care. I watch you silently from down here on the ground, You walk away with her and the world keeps spinning around.
