Alone

Everyone is alone
Trapped in their heads,
their own little worlds.

No one is connecting,
even in this age of technology.

Everyone is a recluse.
Shut in their rooms,
tricked into thinking they are connected.

Connecting is outdated,
today we have electronical devices that connect for us.

Everyone is infected.
No one is safe from the disease.
Not you or I,
it is the world we live in.
