Alone
Alone I stand,
when before it seem, I always had a helping hand.
I tell myself I'm at fault,
but what else could I do when that's all I was taught.
Taught how people could just leave,
whenever it is that they please.
Then people and I begin to wonder why I shove,
when it comes to the ones I love.
And when I'm left all alone,
I sit waiting by the phone,
a simple ring could make me smile,
but sadly I know I'd have to wait longer than awhile.
My heart says "give up? NEVER"
My head says "okay, whatever,
So much for friends forever."
I find it crazy how easy it was for you to let go,
thought we were like sisters but no.
Still I'll never treat you as a foe.
I'll just wonder why I feel so low.
I figured our friendship was going to grow,
as I look now there's nothing to show.
I used to wonder why I shove
every person I grow to love.
My answer is cause everything will end in pain,
so I find it easier to not tr and gain
cause in the end you will always lose
for I know there's a lot of people like you.
but I guess learning the hard way is best
that each one would be like the rest.
Every person I grow to love
needs to learn how to be shoved
for when I needed them most
I held such high hopes
that everyone isn't like each other
but truly cares for one another.
Though you wont be the last one
oh no.. I am always left with none.
For that I shove
every single person I love.
