Alone

The sun
Beautiful

Strong

Bright

Everything a teenage girl should be

Alone

She does it so gracefully

She gets up everyday

She does her job

She does it well

No one ever asks her

Does she feel alone

Does she want someone

The moon so far from her

And even It only uses her

We use her

We don't love her

We dont show her how we need her so

So

Why does the sun do it

Return to the same place

Everyday

Do the thankless job

She was given her whole life

Because she knows

If ever she was to run

It would crumple

The world that she once new would be no more

So she shines

And never gives up

A respect I hold to her

Is one I wish I could hold to myself
