Alone

Lying here alone Tyring my best to remember Where I last left my heart Trying to understand Why I`m still holding Onto past regrets And why I remain In the permanent state Of frequent heartbreak Where is it, Not a significant piece Surely one I can live without But who would want to Only capable to give The one you truly love Three-fourths of your heart Maybe its in the last Moment we shared In that room, On that floor, on that bed Oh how I dread it not there Forced to relive The struggle of endless lust Lying there in that bed Forced to roll over sheets That once housed a relationship Built on a lie Left to hear cries Not of pleasure begging for more But of heart O how I hope its not there Maybe its in the trash Along with that Cherry limeade we shared Right before we agreed To trick loyalty Maybe its Already with the man that holds my heart And owns my body The man with a smile Of 1000 kings that walks in in power And sounds his expectations If he already has it I pray that he holds it tight Under the shadows of his heart Never to release it if all of this is true I will show him a love that will never die
