Alone

My life is as a cave

Hollow and empty made of stone

My soul through this cave wanders utterly alone

The darkness manages to seep into my very being

No light, no warmth

Nothing I am clearly seeing

I stand as though my back were a board

Never tiring for you see I am alone

No one to listen

No one for to care

Yet I see a spark ahead

I crawl toward it for I've fallen apon my kness

Hoping that spark is another

You see, lonliness is a disease

This poem had a great meaning to me in high school when my life was the hardest.
