Alone

She sits among friends but inside she's bleeding.

They laugh and jest for none see the pain in her eyes.

The tears start to roll down as she thinks the worst;

She is alone.

He walks alone with a sad song on his mind.

His friends are a figment of imagination.

Yet he is not sad for he already knows;

He is alone.

Two different worlds loneliness haunts,

One is afraid, one is not.

It is important to remember you are not alone;

Not when it comes to loneliness.
