ALone

Am I the object of ominous failure Must I live in the absence of home In the deep dark terrain where not even the hellfire dare go This modern retro realm of limbo Where I am the shimmery soul Lost to the underbelly of time Stuck for what seems like eternity Waiting for an escape I fear will never come Looking for comfort in ones most leathery Searching most for the other half to my velcro ring I have seen the dark figures of the dream watchers And you have too Could you be the match to my longing Or am I deceived by the dark shadows?
