Alone


From the shadows to the light I sit alone in the dark Alone in the light – Wishing, wanting something more To be seen, to be loved Possibly even feared. A flurry of emotions Spark in the daylight And fizzle in the night Fireflies illuminate what we can’t see and disguise themselves in the shadows for what we see what we want and ignore what we don’t
