Alone

Heart wracking shrieks fill the once silent room;

How could you leave me alone?

Tears streak down my cheeks, dropping past my wobbling chin and to the carpet below;

How could you leave me alone?

Pain erupts inside my chest as I drop to my already bruised knees;

How could you leave me alone?

Empty promises fill my head as I heave, shaking;

How could you leave me alone?

Nothing more than a broken, shivering lump on the ground;

How could you leave me alone?

"I"ll never leave you." "I'll never go."

You left me alone.
