Alone

I'm always alone no matter what I do All my friends that I have Will eventually leave me soon All the promises we made, you broke them All the things we said we were going to do We didn't I'm alone now because you left me for good Now that you're gone a life cycle of hurt plays On a broken record on repeat I've chosen this path Where no one will find me A place where even all my demons hide With no escape, not like they want to I trap myself in a confined space Without light nor sound Trapped in an eternal darkness Of crushed hopes and dreams That's where all the lonely people go Lost in space and time Of the human mind
