Alone

*BANG*

I see him lying there

My body freezes

I can’t do anything but cry

And watch as he seizes

Then moments later I grab his hand

Feeling nothing but cold

My love, my life, my world

We were supposed to grow old

In the blink of an eye you’re gone

What did you do to deserve this

This cruel fate

As you slip into the abyss

Why must life be so unfair

I feel so alone

I don’t think I can live without him

He was my home

I run at the man who took him

Fire and anger in my eyes

I feel a pain consume my body

I have met me swift demise

I lay there shaking next to him

My love, my life, my world

I feel a sudden peace consume me

We are off to our dream-world.
