Alone

We were alone in your car

living life

enjoying the present

because any time spent with you is a gift

you and i aren't alone often,

so for us to be so isolated from the world felt so peaceful.

No one was bothering us.

No one mattered.

Only us.

You and I.

That was more than fine for me

although I love my space,

you're always my favorite company

and there we were

Alone.

Making subtle moves to 'accidentally' touch eachother,

All while we continued with our profound conversation

We finally held hands,

and I kid you not my heart almost jumped out of my chest

Fuck.

Why do you make me realize I don't actually enjoy being alone?
