Alone

I wake up everyday in my empty bed,

Make breakfast in my empty home,

Sit on the couch in the silent atmosphere,

and stare at the black screen.

So I close my eyes

as I drift away from this land

then I hear sounds

the sound of hands typing,

The sound of laughter,

the sound of music,

the sound of dishes,

and the beautiful sound of their voices.

It brings so much peace and joy

deep inside me.

I then open my eyes,

and am back in my empty house,

lay in my empty bed,

in a silent atmosphere
