Alone.

Who likes to be alone?
Being alone is lonely! It’s sad. Sadness does not have a place in my world. When I’m alone, I get caught up in my own thoughts. The sadness takes over. Why did you have to leave me? Why did God need you more? These words leave me sad, alone. You fought for eight long years. Why? So I wouldn’t be alone – so you could see me grow. Now I’m alone, and you can only see me grow from above. No one understands. No one can. The sadness, the emptiness, the alone has taken over. We used to point out how sad it was to see people eating alone. And yet, now I eat alone. Our thoughts of growing old together, are gone. I am alone. No more talks, walks or even sitting in silence together, cuz you are gone. And I’m all alone. Death has always scared me. Death is sadness. Death is alone. The games we played, the fun we had; now I play solitaire. No more fun, just sad, just alone. I used to be strong. You were my strength. Now I am weak, sad, alone. I miss you so, and yet I do it alone.
Alone.
