Alone

Sitting alone in a room

Surrounded by lonely people

They look down at their phones to watch cute videos of beagles

Don't care about the burning diesel

Don't care about the dying eagle

Don't care about the falling steeple

Just want to go see the new sequels

They all just wanna sit and watch

Sit and watch their phones

Sit and watch their drones

Sit and watch aerosols destroy our ozone

Sit and watch stones

Thrown from side to side,

From the Left to right

From the right to the left

Want to fight each other on every little thing until there's nothing left.

Sitting alone in a room of lonely people

Nobody talks

Everybody stalks;

Their ex, their next

But I'm so complexed

Why is it that we care more about our next flex

When this whole world feels like it's under a hex

Sitting in a room with my people

Don't know about the burning diesel

Don't know about the dying eagle

Don't know about the falling steeple

Hey, look at this cute video of my beagle
