Alone

My chair feels cool and soft Back ache tells me I have lived long and hard Silence of my house Dog laps her soft rainbow hair Artist me Feeling alone in the world Angry at the systems and rules of fools in power I rise And face it all Alone Loving myself remembering I am the star The fire The ice The sky My breath brings calm Wisdom Smiling Connecting to you
