Alone

I am caught between two infinities, For what seems to be an eternity, Abandoned, stuck in what I can only call, the unknown. But I have been here before, and vaguely remember this agony. Passionate feelings of mine untamed, Confusion messing with my conscience, Independent, depending on the undiscovered… My state of mind is no state of reality. I am lost, vulnerable to anything and everything I fear. I am confused, disoriented by this solitude and isolation. Helpless, for I am left mystified in my own deep thoughts. I genuinely need to find my heart somewhere in your soul, To know it still exists there, to know I am not alone. Reassure me I have not been forgotten. Let your words assuage my uncertainties. Bring me to your warmth again. Save me, remind me to breath, tell me I will live…I, Blinded by the darkness, Deafened by the stillness, Silenced by the voices in my head… Take me from this place.
