Alone

Alone

At night

Im alone in my room

Alone with the monsters who keep me company in my mind

They settle in my body

Alone

just me and the weapon

That i use to slaughter the monsters when they get too loud

The monsters quiet down,

Being alone  is where i find comfort

Lonley

Lonley with a crowd of warm bodies around me,brushed by skin and familiar scents

Thoes whos hearts are so cold,

Hearts that don’t match the person behind the scent

Now the monsters are in the room with me

Now they dont scream anymore

They don’t need to

They just stare

My weapon is useless against them

So i just sit and stare as they make me feel small

Lonley with these monsters

They keep me company, slowly hollowing me out

The coldness of their hearts is contagious,Im becoming one them

Lonely with these monsters

My weapon is useless

I can’t fight back
