Alone in the dark

i feel alone

I am forgotten

a blank slate existing with no true point or purpose

a lost lamb

alone in the dark

nothing more than a simple shadow

in plain sight, yet ignored

a silent scream

a quiet whisper that says "help"

yet none hear me, even if I scream until my lungs collapse

a broken smile with a darkness behind the mask
