Alone Made Me

Alone Made Me

Alone is one of my passions

And one of the loves that has awaken my dreams

Death is around every depth of my soul

But life has broken most of the seams

I’ve seen my body standing at the end of the cliff

Standing awaiting the dark clouds to respond to my sorrows

When I saw the light that opened my soul up to golden storm

I was glued to the flash of mist that made me stiff

What has made me who I am was my loneliness

Seeing the site of death upon my brother

The love being stripped in distress

Ive lived through being alone with no other

I strive to be greater to see that flash of mist again

So my passions wont need the seems again to be broken

This poem meant a lot to me because it alks about how through my self consciousness I continued to strive for better. I did not let my life die a long with the increase of my loneliness. Driving to reach those dreams in school sports and in my career. It truly shows how i felt growing up by myself and only with parents to love me.
