Alone with this mind of mine
My thoughts and I walk side by side.
I think of everything and wonder why.
I seek no answers, just some peace.
It’s the antidote.
I remind myself of memories
and between us there are no lies.
Just wandering and mindless talks
and even a silent cry.
But I do not fear to cry
this time around you see.
Because alas I am alone
just my thoughts and me.
