Alone, My Thoughts and I

Look around, look up and down

See nothing but sand and a cloud

Panick!  Halt! Thou shall not panick.

For thy mind is sharp and quick.

Alone? Yes, for alone am I,

Though I will not be one to die.

Alone are we, my thoughts and I.

We are not one's, who will cry.

Merely skill, I tell myself,

Climb this tree, as if a shelf.

Do eat this, but dont eat that

We watched a rat eat that--then, splat.

I make a house of sticks and mud,

I said use leaves, but "I'm a dud".

Alone are we, my thoughts and I,

Only need eachother to survive.
