Alone with only my thoughts

I'm all alone

In a place that seeks to calm me or make me delirious

I look around to find my possessions

Yet, there is nothing for me!

But the one possession I hold just for me

My Brain! My Brain!

The place I keep memories

and my thoughts

My insights, my stories, my fantasies

to-do lists and stressors too!

I'd keep my brain and my sanity only because I can't live without them!

My entire life is in my brain.

Everything I hold dear to me is logded in it.

Without it I will ask..... Who am I?
