Alone in this world

“I’m here for you”

“ you are not alone”

“ you will always have me”

The lies that people feed me

They are not there at 2:30 am

are they?

no, they are not.

They are not there

when my self loathing claws

make it’s way up my throat

And climb into my mouth

tearing it apart

i scream silently

when this happens

im alone.

The only thing that is there for me

is my monster

the demon in my mind

that watches me

as the blade cuts deeper in my skin

there is no one there

as I bleed out

crying for help.

im alone

alone in this world

they are not there

because they see don’t my silent pain

i should have told them.
