Alphabet Soup
Life is like a bowl of alphabet soup.
We aren’t in control of the letters we are given;
The names of people, objects, places,
All depend on the letters in our dishes.
Thousands of possibilities; yet, they’re still limited by the scope,
Or rim, of our individual servings.
It’s up to our vision, our imagination to extend these barriers.
A bowl can become an ocean if one believes it to be so.
Life is like a bowl of Alphabet soup,
But how we arrange the letters, where we let them lead us;
That’s where our freedom lies…
