Alright
" Alright"
A son
A daughter
A mother
And
A Father
A friend
A classmate
A teacher
Grandma
Papa
Uncle
Auntie
Lost
Due to the insecurities of someone else
For the Angels looking down us
They remind us not to cry
But not to hide
Any emotion
For those whose souls
Lost in the ocean
Come back to us
It'll be alright
We can get through this together
I promise I'll stay with you forever
No need to take time to synthesize
Just clear mind and all will be right
To a mother
Who misses her child's loving embrace
Kisses on your face
Their laughter in the halls
Now it's gone
She weeps and weeps
For days and weeks
Only to find time not to cry
When their blood stains have all dried
To a child missing their mommy or daddy
Telling you to stay out of the sugar caddy
Asking "when is mommy and daddy coming back"
And all you can say is
"I don't know"
In order not to break their hears
To a brother and sister
Missing a sibling
Pondering on
The last time they teased them
Took the last slice of pizza
When they felt left out
When they got bullied
Wishing you could've done something better something more
I'm here to tell you it'll be alright
To those missing someone
To those hurt by this tragedy
To those wanting to end it all to see them faster
They'd say
Stop
Think such foolish things no more
Live life
Live for me
For I am with you
And always will be
In your heart
Please
I love you
Be free
Be happy
Be
Alright
For it'll be alright
For soon things will be better than just alright
Alright?
Alright.
