Altered

I’m not the person I’m suppose to be

I don’t fit in my frame

looking into the picture of what could have been

but in the absence of time

in the numbness

in the loss

I have missed my path

looking into the mirror

a soul that use to have potential

but was drowned by the lonely nights

the untucked sheets

I wish I could change

the past
