Alternate Ending

I wish believing was easy but there’s so much deceiving I spend more time thinking than I spend breathing and God, You are the breath of life that I want to breathe in tonight You can take control and show me what I need to know and where to go to get to where I’m supposed to be Because You are a rock and I am a withering tree The tree you died on was for me and that was a waste of wood You should’ve died for someone else and just left me where I stood Then I’d have no worries or fears and you wouldn’t have shed those tears I wouldn’t have to wonder if I’m doing everything wrong, because I’d already know I don’t belong and that’s my greatest fear Now I’m just confused It’s like my brain just blew a fuse My mind’s gone blank and my life is a bank I have so many debts for which I cannot account I want to be left a loan because I know people are losing interest Maybe I’m just having withdrawals from you Life is getting taxing I’m a withering tree upon which they’re axing and I fall and fold until Behold There’s nothing left where I once was Except a stump that leaves people stumped Chop chop chop is all it took like the thump thump thump at the end of the Book I wail as you grow pale with the hammering of nails and I try to shout CAN’T YOU SEE You don’t need to die for me I’ll waste my life every minute of every day It shouldn’t have ended that way
