Waves

so gentle

at day

caressing

the sand

as it

sways back

and forth.

The sun’s

rays

illuminates

the water

turning

it’s

reflective

surface

into

a

sea

of

glittering

diamonds.

As you

inhale the

freshness

of the air

you can

almost

taste the

saltiness

of the ocean’s

water.

As

the sun

sets,

beginning

the end

of the day,

the

gentleness

of the

breeze

and

waves

begins

to shift.

The breeze

turns

into

a

howling

wind.

Howling

like

a

lonely

wolf,

in the

middle

of

the night

for

comfort.

The

ocean’s

roar

echoes

into

the

silent

night,

disturbing

the

peace

around

it.

The

monstrous

waves

engulfs

everything

in its path

like

shells

or

objects

that people

have

forgotten,

carrying

them

deep

within

its

body

and

hiding

it

in the

ocean’s depth

forever.
