An Alternative Me

A simple life

The son of a commoner and workman

I myself am a workman

Pride in work

Long work

Honest work

Production and legacy is honesty

Workman’s wages is all you can ask for the work that is done

Living in a place where history is as much as personal heritage as is community heritage

People the same,

Different,

All of them, but the same

A woman

Happy with only that which I have

Happy with one another

I give all to her

The reality will always set in

A reality that I truly want, but a longing that can’t be fulfilled

The longing is exactly that, a long way from the reality of life

Where it must stay for me to be wholly happy

This part of me is an alternative

An alternative that can bring happiness but to only part of me

The whole is being fulfilled in time

Finding imperfections in my life now

Learning to appreciate small intricacies of life

Learning to love life more every day.

One point to never change

The love in life, my life

Love for others and one

Never changing but always evolving.

Reality, at times most hated foe

But always shows its face as a beloved friend.
