Always

Inside a small, dark and quiet gloom Two men sat, in different rooms This is how it was, as it never changed or shifted Their eyes always locked together, eyelids lifted = The man on the right, sat in anguish and despair For the man on the left, his face did bare A sickening and grotesque abundance of decay Which the man on the right, was subject to day, after day = The man on the left, his neck was broken Ear against his shoulder, eyes awoken And though his lips were fixed in a bloody frown To the man on the right, he was smiling, upside down = And with that horrifying face it leered The epitome of his most darkest fears But no matter how hard he tried to avert his eyes They sat there motionless, deaf to his mute cries = Though no sound came from either room Thousands of voices whispered in his tomb And silently screamed their words of death To be rid once and for all, the man on the left = So with a heave and a heavy sigh He lifted himself up with a silent cry And with eyes never moving, to his surprise The man on the left he too did rise = Now on their feet, they maintained their stare Bringing up those feelings of hate and despair Until upon gathering all of their strength They ran at each other, their arms out straight = And with a crash of shards of glass The man on the right's body did amass Onto the cold and glittering floor below His body broken, as his blood began to flow = And in a shard of glass before his eye The man on the right, began to cry For in the reflection of that white shard The man on the left stared back hard = Inside a small, dark and quiet gloom Two men lay, in the same room This is how it was, as it never changed or shifted Their eyes always locked together, eyelids lifted = Always
