Always
Always is a powerful word.
By and by, the true impact of it is ignored!
Converging time and meaning, always forgotten.
Do you remember?
Every day, until the end of an endless notion called time, that is the meaning.
Foiled over and preserved for eternity, that is always
Great power, found in just one small word
How does it go unnoticed?
Impossible, it seems, that such a vast expanse can be defined; packed and condensed into six small sounds.
Jumping from day to day, always will follow, and yet precedes us, forever
Killing all doubt that time goes on, emphasizing mortality.
Looking ahead, behind, and into the present, that is always.
Moving forever, yet eternally still.
Never cannot stop it!
Over any day, always will be there to see.
Pardoning attempts to forget.
Questions with no answer have no affect; always, always knows.
Riveting as much as repelling the idea stands,
Simple, it is not.
Time tries, and drives a hard bargain, but still cannot escape.
Under lock and key, always keeps it trapped.
Vision cannot reach the outer edge; the invisible blades cutting through all theory.
We die, and wilt away, but always does not.
Xeroxed by each next generation, following the same patterns, all the same,
Yet, always will know when each has passed.
Zipping by, yet never moving, that is always.
